Red Bridge is a community of families committed to lifelong learning and who represent the diversity of San Francisco. Red Bridge welcomed our first class of 12 students in September 2020. We currently serve 71 students in Kindergarten through 7th grade.

Applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now open!

Autonomy Level 1 Applicants must be 5 years old before November 30, 2026.

Red Bridge uses Ravenna to process applications and manage event sign-up, including Information Sessions and School Tours. Follow the link below to create an account on Ravenna. Application Process

  1. Submit a preliminary application (on Ravenna)
    This portion of the application process should take only ~20-30 minutes.

  2. Register for an info session (on Ravenna)
    Our information sessions cover essential details about our model and program, and are a great opportunity for you to hear from current staff, parents, and ask questions.

  3. Submit your tuition survey (sent via email)
    A few weeks after you submit your preliminary application, our admissions team will email you a link to complete the tuition survey. Once you’ve submitted the survey, our tuition team will inform you of your individualized tuition amount within 2 weeks. You are welcome to opt out if you plan to pay the max tuition amount by indicating so on the survey.

  4. Sign up for a school tour (link sent via email)
    Shortly after you’ve submitted your preliminary app, our admissions team will invite you via email to sign up for a school tour. Since space is limited, we are only able to offer tours to families who have submitted a preliminary application on Ravenna.

  5. Complete the supplementary application materials
    Admissions decisions are based on information gathered in the supplementary portion of the application, which includes school transcripts, a teacher evaluation, a virtual parent interview, and a student playdate/shadow visit. Our admissions team will reach out to you to complete these steps in the second half of the admissions season (Jan-Feb), after you’ve completed your preliminary application.

    Applicants to Middle School will additionally be required to submit a brief student statement on Ravenna.
