Nick wants children to learn about themselves as people, finding their own interests and passions while understanding how their strengths and challenges balance with hard work and a growth mindset, all while taking time to practice being a caring member of the classroom community. Rose began her teaching career in San Francisco as a high school math teacher at a small private school through the YMCA. To continue developing this philosophy, Emma pursued a B.S. in Educational Sciences and a B.A. in Media Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Along the way, she conducted educational research at American University in Washington, D.C., and with the Center for Research on Expanding Educational Opportunity. She studied Communication and Media Studies at Dominican University of California and has always been drawn to the power of thoughtful, authentic communication. Before joining Red Bridge, Erin worked at Cathedral School for Boys as the Director of Extended Day Programming, where she oversaw aftercare, enrichment, and summer programs. She graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Food Science and Human Nutrition, and during her time there participated in the Alternative Spring Break Program, serving as a camp counselor in the redwoods of California. This experience sparked her passion for working with young people and set her on a path of outdoor leadership. She went on to work at Camp Chief Ouray in Fraser, Colorado, and later as an adventure travel leader with Moondance Adventures, guiding multi-day expeditions for teens across the U.S. and Europe. These experiences shaped her belief that meaningful learning happens through challenge, reflection, and connection - an approach she now brings into the classroom. Annalee joins Red Bridge from Cascades Academy in Bend, Oregon, where she has taught middle school math and science and designed inquiry-driven, project-based experiences, including week-long traveling school trips. She is passionate about helping students develop metacognitive skills, supporting them in understanding not just what they are learning, but how they learn best. Her work is grounded in social-emotional learning and community building. She completed her graduate studies exploring the intersection of empathy and student self-assessment. Annalee is excited to join a community that values student agency and is committed to helping students set meaningful goals and take ownership of their learning. Liz’s previous experience includes teaching for two years at a bilingual school in Madrid, Spain, where she facilitated an interdisciplinary curriculum preparing students for a city-wide Model United Nations conference. She has also led youth on international hiking and biking expeditions for the past five summers.
